Always a pleasure to add to people’s piercing collections. Here’s a couple of sweet shots of the lovely Naima’s pair of sternum dermal anchor piercings.
Dermal Anchors
Temple Dermal
Was a pleasure and a lot of fun when Chelsea requested a microdermal anchor piercing on her temple (side of the face.) Chelsea had previously had this piercing procedure performed twice on either side of her forehead (each temple.) The scar around half an inch south of the dermal had been done before in Philly and Chelsea was more than happy with it for around three years before it grew out. She had a second done on the left side, elsewhere also; which never took (settled) and only lasted a few months. Chelsea was really happy with the results as was I and it is a constant buzz meeting so many wonderful people doing what I do in the studio at Shiva.
Various Work
Always an honour to add to Layla’s piercing collection and collect a couple of awesome shots of some work. I have pierced Layla countless times and among these photos I think the second lip piercing in on the right was the only one pierced elsewhere. This is a shot of a fresh smiley/frenulum piercing w/1.2mm x 10mm titanium CBB. Also pictured (and healed) are double nose piercings w/0.8mm x 6mm & 10mm seamless rings, septum w/1.2mm x 8mm segment ring, 1.6mm dimple piercings, two lip piercings (left and central) w/1.2mm jewellery and iridescent gemstones; with a sternum dermal just visible at the bottom of the photos.
Time Piece
Finger Dermal
Donna had ink on her finger she wanted covered and so went with a finger dermal w/mixed-pink-stone. With all piercings although especially micro-dermal/surface piercings, I go over the positioning, healing and risks; usually recommending a finger dermal to be worn like a splint with tape for a week of the initial healing. Generally speaking, it is an area (hands/fingers/wrists-even) whereby you are likely to occasionally catch or knock it but good quality dermal implants (both metal/jewellery wise and piercing/placement) and taking good care of your piercing means these can last for years. I’ve removed and repaired loads of anchors over the years and am always more than happy to refit my work on my customers free of charge if you manage to get caught out. Quality, professional piercing stems worldwide so always do your research before getting anything pierced.
*Updated* A month after the original ring finger dermal, Donna was so happy we added an additional pinky dermal and switched up the gemstones…
Hip Dermals
Paired off the lovely Victoria’s original dermal with another to make hip dermals, both pierced by myself. The left side (of the middle photo) is healed whilst the right side the new addition. Thanks again to the many wonderful people who keep me busy, doing what I do…
