Joel’s another awesome guy that requested a double daith piercing due to persistent chronic migraines. I was more than happy to help, piercing Joel with a pair of 1.2mm titanium CBBs. Joel said he felt some instant relief after the piercing which is positive although I cannot speculate that this either cures or soothes migraines. I did say to Joel, if he does have a migraine or headache, to perhaps clean the piercing/jewellery and see if that pressure from moving the jewellery stimulates the apparent trigger point. I really, genuinely hope that this is something that can work and I will keep track with my people to see how healing and results occur over time.
I pierced the lovely Athena’s nose a couple years ago, which she had since taken out. She wished to have her septum pierced with the smallest jewellery possible. I usually only go as small as 8mm when piercing (you can turn up a CBB) but since she has a small nose, we used a 1.2mm x 6mm gold titanium CBB. Pleasure to pierce returning clients and find jewellery that fits the individual. Suits her eye make-up!
My fellow piercer Kelly has a fair collection of blackline jewellery in both ears, on her right ear I recently added a CBB to her daith. It’s easy to spot as it’s central, pierced w/1.2mm x 10mm CBB (Circular Bar Bell) horseshoe ring. This is a great photo and advert for body piercing, though after deliberation we figured this is the first thing I’ve pierced on Kelly’s right ear. Kelly herself has been piercing for a couple of years and you can view some of her work @ http://www.instagram.com/pinholepiercings 😷🚬💉
