The Ashleigh Piercing
The Ashley Piercing ~ Inverse Vertical Lip.
The Ashley/Ashleigh piercing is an inverse vertical lip. I’ve pierced countless lips and several vertical lips, but this was my first and only request for the Ashley. The needle goes through your actual lip and with this we used PTFE plastic due to heavy swelling for the first few days. Once it settled down I think Lisa later changed it for a metal bar. It looks killer and I imagine pretty painful. Very proud of this piece.

Here’s a micro dermal w/clear gem on the side of the wrist. I can also tell you this was done at ten past five on a Monday afternoon. With wrist dermals be mindful of watches, bracelets and clothing. To my knowledge this lady hasn’t had any problems.

Nose Piercing
Spiky Nose Piercing
Here’s one of the most popular piercings, the nose. At Shiva we charge £20 for a plain stud or a spike (shown here) or a range of gem stones for £25. We pierce with 1mm titanium corkscrew/spiral back studs. I never pierce noses with rings as rings spin and thus infection is inevitable, as is it easier to catch rings on things. I usually advise a minimum of three months before I’m happy to change it to a ring for you. It’s also not uncommon for a nose stud to fall/be pulled out. If this happens, in the initial healing period they will heal/close up; ridiculously quick. If this happens, do come back and see me and I’ll happily re-open or re-pierce it.

This nape micro dermal anchor, was done in 2012 but the photo was taken last year. With dermals, I’m always happy to change the tops/heads for customers I’ve pierced; also pop ’em back in if they get caught out.

Snakebites are two lip piercings, both of these done here with 1.6mm x 10mm titanium labret bars; later changed down for 1.6mm x 8mm.

Here’s two customers from last summer in the original shop, left side is an ear lobe piercing whilst on the right is a triple pierced top ear. Great fun, you meet a lot of kool people visiting Greenwich n’ London in general.
